The full price is £749, which includes all activities listed above and catered lunch refreshments during the days (details below). Accommodation is not included.
The retreat lunches will be catered by local caterers Cooks & Co, with a delicious menu on both Saturday and Sunday. There will be tea, coffee, and snacks available throughout, with someone from the Neidpath Castle events team on hand to provide regular refreshments.
You will need to arrange your own breakfast and evening meals. You can see a list of restaurants and cafes in the local town of Peebles here.
Yes, you need to book your accommodation . Neidpath Castle has a range of self-catering accommodations within the grounds, each with a different theme (but all fit for Kings and Queens). Cosy up in a 2-person luxury bothy, a miniature castle, or a character-filled 6-person cottage – choose a period style to suit you. View and book the Castle’s luxurious accommodation here.
There are other hotels and bed and breakfast (B&B) facilities available nearby in the town of Peebles, which is only a 10-minute walk from Neidpath Castle. See a list of where to stay in Peebles here.
We want you to relax and not worry about what’s happening each day, so the full schedule will be given to you when you arrive. You can refer back to what’s happening during the retreat above for more information.
As some of the retreat activities will be outside (such as the forest bathing), in the event of hazardous weather conditions we will modify things to be indoors for safety. However, we intend on going out in whatever nature has for us that day, so come prepared.
If for any reason the event cannot go ahead as planned, we will use our best efforts to make alternative arrangements and tickets will remain valid. If the event is cancelled completely, attendees will be entitled to a refund of fees paid.
We do not offer refunds if you change your mind or can no longer attend, however, we advise that you take out travel insurance covering the costs of travel and accommodation for these instances. Full terms and conditions can be found here.
